Here's one of Jim trying to save the chives

Paris 2010 again, we stayed in an apartment a block away from the Tuileries.

We were on the 6th floor with a balcony overlooking Rue Sainte Honoré.  Some previous occupant had attempted to establish chives in the pots on the balcony.  The plants seemed like a lost cause to everyone else but Tennis Tousan decided to water the stragglers apparently to see if he could still produce some fresh herbs.
In the background, France, for perspective.

That is such an great photo --Jimi, the chives, the cap and the reading glasses. I'm so so glad he did that trip, and so so glad that so much fun was had. Only photos and good memories remain, and as long as we have the photos, we won't lose the memories.

So sad about what's going on in Paris today.

This is such a wonderful picture but so sad considering what happened in Paris today. It is sad, tragic and frightening. I want to be angry but am mostly sad and frightened for the future. We are lucky to be living here.
