Lake Vadnais

No bicycle race this morning so we had to ride our bicycles in order to produce some bicycle content.

Fitness is gradually improving.  We stretched a bit with a ride out towards one of the common destinations.

It looks like we turned around in the parking lot of a liquor store but actually we were in the parking lot of a food and fuel.

We saw Lake Vadnais and photographed the lake but as the name of that liquor store probably makes clear, we were on the ridge overlooking the south end of the lake.

The thing is we were pretty close to the outer limit of our fitness levels.  If we rode down to the lake we were going to put that elevation change between us and home.

Instead this time we headed for home.
