The incredible Wilson sisters*

Just sitting around on a Saturday night cruising YouTube, I navigated my way to Heart. Here is "Crazy on You", live from a 1976 television performance, with a sensational opening guitar sequence by the somewhat overlooked Nancy followed by the even more sensational vocalizations of Ann showing why it is that Nancy is somewhat overlooked. I love the look on Ann's face when she sashays up to Nancy at the conclusion of the opening guitar solo:

Somebody top that if you can.

For reference purposes here is another version, a live performance from 1978. I like this one because I love the opening guitar part and because on this one the camera work, lighting and staging keep the guitar player out front and equal to the singer.

Hardcore Heart fans will no doubt be pleased to also find the widely played Barracuda (1977).

*with a secondary citation to the Fisher brothers (the male guitar players).

The Wilson sisters demonstrate that you can still rock with most excellent intensity, even if you're.......Canadian.
