But today was plenty nice so we hightailed it out to Lake Vadnais.
You can probably guess why. Because the person responsible for judging the wind direction got it wrong. The wind was mostly west so we were mostly OK on a mostly north-south route. The problem was that the secondary direction was slightly south. We rode home into mostly a slightly quartering head wind.

It was a perfect day and a really nice ride out and a little windy back. So great to be outdoors near a lake on a day like this.
It was ungodly windy here on Sunday, but then you've likely read that on my blog by now. I did get in one ride, just yesterday, as things have slowed down as visitors leave in installments. I rode north and east with a south wind, and called it exercise. I've been at this too long to get too far away from home to get back, even with a headwind at 15 mph. Hopefully.
