We did have a nice sunset this evening.
But this cold thing . . . For two days in a row we have had a high temperature 25 degrees BELOW AVERAGE for this date.

This is the time of year when I usually do a "Hooray Hooray The First of May" post. Instead I would like to note that the temperature at noon each of the past two days has been 36F.

That's an interesting sunset photo. I think there's a name for that effect -- when there is a streak of light going straight up at sunset. It may be 'sundog' -- or maybe not.
Sad times abound.
