First snow

My wife says she was up at 7:30 this morning and there was no snow.  It was rainy and windy though and in the chill that usually comes shortly after dawn the rain turned to snow.

Twin Ports

We spent the weekend in Duluth.  We saw a couple of hockey games and made a couple of appearances at Hawk Ridge (where we saw a couple of bald eagles).

This one was before the game on Saturday and should serve to establish that we actually were in Duluth.

And yes, the day really was that gray.

Earlier in the day we were charmed by the door sign.  Instead of the usual three of no shoes no shirt no service we get a different sort of concern.

Hoodies down.  Pants up.

Another 2007 moment

As originally posted the Babes and Cuppy had tickets to see Spamalot.  I am sure each of them has a story of why they wanted to see that particular presentation

I got a late start on my ride that day because I wanted to stay at home until after they left for the theater. I had been recruited as a pre-event photog.Don't they look spam-tastic?

While I was out riding a bridge fell down.

10 years ago in Michigan

We had a glitch in on demand viewing last evening. Today and this evening I have spent some time trying to figure out what happened.  Along the line I had to log in to my internet provider account.  While I was there I checked the seldom used e-mail account there.  I discovered these I think previously not published on the internet photos taken by my brother Jim.

We were all 10 years younger than we are now. 

I think we all probably love this one, Santini's neighbors are moving around over there in the background.

Of the three, I am pretty sure this is the one Jim liked the most.

In the background I cannot help but notice that the current beach looks nothing at all like what this photo shows.
